All second-hand saddles sold by Best Saddle Shop include a 6-month soundness warranty. Each saddle is professionally inspected prior to sale and supplied in sound working condition.

The warranty remains valid provided the saddle has been properly cared for and maintained by the purchaser. Coverage excludes accidental damage, misuse, neglect, fire, theft, and normal wear and tear. Any alterations or modifications carried out after purchase by the owner or a saddle fitter will invalidate the warranty, as responsibility for the saddle’s safety then transfers to the individual making those changes.

Original Bates Manufacturer Warranty

When purchased new, Bates saddles are supported by comprehensive manufacturer warranties:

• 10-Year Tree Warranty covering breakage of the Elastiflex tree.
• 2-Year Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
• Warranty claims require proof of purchase and are processed through authorized Bates retailers.
• Repairs or replacements completed under warranty do not extend the original warranty period.
