UK Trial

Eligible UK mainland customers can take advantage of a 5-day saddle trial. The trial begins on the day the saddle is delivered.

If you have a saddle fitting appointment arranged, it is recommended that the saddle arrives a couple of working days before the appointment to allow for potential courier delays.

International trial periods are not currently available.

Inspection & Warranty

Every second-hand saddle comes with a saddle inspection report, giving you useful information about the saddle’s condition.

A 6-month soundness warranty is also provided on eligible second-hand saddles, subject to the applicable terms.

The warranty requires the saddle to be properly cared for and maintained. It does not cover accidental damage, fire, theft, neglect or misuse. Alterations made by the owner or an unauthorised saddle fitter may also invalidate the warranty.

For safety, any necessary saddle adjustments should be carried out by a suitably qualified professional.

Manufacturer Warranty

For new Thorowgood saddles, the SIMA Tree is covered by a five-year guarantee, while materials and workmanship are covered for 12 months, subject to the manufacturer’s terms and fair wear and tear.

As this is a second-hand saddle, the applicable second-hand warranty is the 6-month soundness warranty described above.
