All second-hand saddles sold by Best Saddle Shop include a 6-month soundness warranty. Every saddle is carefully inspected before sale and supplied in sound, serviceable condition.

The warranty remains valid provided the saddle has been properly maintained by the purchaser. Coverage excludes accidental damage, misuse, neglect, fire, theft, normal wear and tear, and any modifications carried out after purchase. Alterations made by an owner or saddle fitter will invalidate the warranty, as responsibility for the saddle’s safety then transfers to the individual performing those changes.

Original Bates Manufacturer Warranty

When purchased new, Bates saddles are supported by a comprehensive manufacturer warranty:

• 10-Year Warranty against breakage of the Elastiflex saddle tree.
• 2-Year Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
• Warranty claims require proof of purchase, warranty documentation, and processing through an authorised Bates retailer.
• Repairs or replacements completed under warranty do not extend the original warranty period.
