Manufacturer’s Warranty

Bates Saddles provides:

• 10-year warranty against tree breakage under normal riding conditions.
• 2-year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
• Warranty is valid from the original purchase date and requires proof of purchase.
• Any warranty repairs or replacements do not extend the original warranty period.
• Warranty claims must be processed through an authorised Bates Saddles retailer.

Please note that factory seconds, discontinued models, and prototype saddles may be subject to different warranty terms.

All pre-owned and ex-demo saddles purchased from Best Horse Saddle Shop include a 6-month soundness warranty.

Our saddles are thoroughly inspected before sale and supplied in sound riding condition. This warranty covers structural soundness under normal use and applies only when the saddle has been properly maintained by the purchaser.

The warranty does not cover:

• Accidental damage
• Misuse or neglect
• Fire or theft
• Unauthorised repairs or alterations

Any modifications carried out by a saddle fitter or owner will void the warranty, as responsibility for the saddle’s safety transfers to the individual performing the alterations.
